Never fully committed to the light or dark side of the force and never fully committed to the Rebellion or the Empire. Malia was an acquisitive being. Survival was the only priority. Whether that meant taking the occasional bounty or smuggling a bit of spice to whoever needed it, she would do it for the right pay. She didn't care if the Empire or The Rebels triumphed in the end, as long as there were still people for her to swindle and credits for her to earn. So what set her on a different path? The truth. The cold, harsh, bitter truth came out and slapped Malia in the face. While stowing away on Tatooine a selfish girl encounters a selfless boy. Rescuing him from the carbonite, she dared to hope they would never be separated again, but there she was, stuck in the cells with Han's execution growing close. In the week Leia is subjected to slavery, she learns quickly that she must adapt to survive even if that meant giving up her dignity.
