Victoria's parents always called her a freak for being different, so they locked her in her room when she was seven with no form of communication of the outside world. Maids brought her food twice a day, since they believed that she didn't need lunch, and she couldn't even see them since they slide under the locked door. This went on for ten years till everything changed after her parents died and the key for the door was lost. That's where are story starts.

I woke up in a hospital bed, the pain I was feeling was intense. All I remember was practicing gymnastics and then well everything went black. And now the only things I hear are the sound of my heart monitor and the slow dripping of the IV into my arm. Melinda goes to a school in a far far away place, to a school of magic but everyone else there is as normal as normal. They learn what school kids do. The usual algebra and chemistry but they are trained with powers. The school do not teach them how to control their powers, they teach themselves. Like every school, there is always the popular and the unpopular. In her school, there is two really sexy prefect, 2 pop stars, 2 princesses, famous actors, cool cheerleaders, geeks, and of course, herself. Everyone in her class was special in a way, even the geeks. There was no average kids, only her. To make things worse, the smart students have been chosen.
