Dawn has been living with her brother-in-law ever since the death of her husband. The issue is that Jarod is abusive and she doesn't want to raise her young son Gunner with that kind of male role model. So Dawn decides to run away to Arizona where Grant (her deceased husbands best friend) lives. Will she be welcomed with open arms or be turned away back to her deadly life in New York?
