At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, ancient magic stirs once more as Alchemy is reintroduced to the curriculum. Professor Ava Blackthorn, the enigmatic new Head of Slytherin House, arrives to teach Alchemy and Ancient Magic Studies, carrying with her a mysterious past tied to the dangerous power she now seeks to master. Juniper Merriweather, the Herbology professor beloved by students and staff alike, is determined to break through Ava's guarded demeanor, even as their unlikely connection grows deeper than either expected. But when the Ministry of Magic calls on Ava to confront a perilous artifact from the shadowed depths of wizarding history, the very magic she teaches may threaten to consume her. In The Alchemical Legacy, secrets, sacrifice, and the bonds of trust are tested against the timeless halls of Hogwarts, where the line between the past and present is thinner than it seems, and love may be the most transformative magic of all.
