A Second Chance

15 year old micheal is on an average boring field trip when strange events unfold around him. no one knows how or where it came from and up to the day of the field trip it was just a stupid rumor talked about in late night forums,
untill a man in a bloody suit stumbles in and bites the curator.
all hell breaks lose as the teacher scrambles to get the students back to the bus. all is well with the class on its way out of NewYork untll a mob descends upon the bus throwing the occupants out.
as every one fights for one of the only ways out micheal is trampled and sent into a coma,
nearly a week later he awakes to find himself in a new world alone with people hes never seen and half of his class missing.
the only people who seem to care he is alive are Heidi a college student training to become a nurse, and lucy
a short but intense girl who seems to be the only one able to deal with this new world.
now micheal must learn how to survive long enough to make it back to california and hopefully reunite with his family.
