"Do you understand?"

"No. You said the best part wasn't how you loved her-"

"Okay. Maybe it hasn't become clear yet. Come closer, listen in, and I will tell you the best part of the story."

In the second novel following Amelia Merlin, stakes have risen higher than anyone could have predicted. The war between the Girl Queen and the Lord of Dreams becomes increasingly brutal and through it, all enemies and allies are lost and made overnight. Each of the Nine Families is forced to choose sides. At Hogwarts, things are tenser than ever with the rise of Lord Voldemort. The students each experience great loss and even greater friendships. Meanwhile, Amelia is still desperately trying to figure out the prophecy and the true meaning of the Game for Okamila.

Read the SECOND book in the series, the plot and the characters are more developed and intriguing than the last book and I promise you, the more you read the better it gets.

Playing With Fire (Charlie Weasley X Reader) by TheLemonSheriff
27 parts Complete
Charlie X Reader, 'Playing With Fire' Book 1 (Series Completed) *** "Uh, yeah. I stopped going to classes a while back. Believe it or not, that's not good for the GPA. I had, like, a 26 average or something," I said like it wasn't a big deal. "Damn, that's not great," he admitted. He rounded the corner into Percy's room. I could hear Percy fighting with the twins in their room. "Why'd you do that?" he asked teasingly. "My dad died," I answered honestly. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry," he said and his face dropped. "It's alright," I dismissed. "Seriously, stop looking at me like that." "I can't help it," he said. "You're making it worse. You look like a wounded puppy," I whined. "Don't be like everyone else. I'm sick of people treating me differently because of this whole thing. Treat me normally." "You mean, like flirt with you a little bit?" "Well, I, uh," I stuttered. He grinned at me. "You're blushing." *** Seventh-year Y/N Y/L/N is what the professors would call a prime example of wasted potential, with an impressively bad 26% average. As far as she's concerned, she is past academic redemption. However, Dumbledore and McGonagall decide to introduce a new opportunity for struggling students, a scholarship that covers a trip abroad. Y/N is desperately in need of this scholarship if she wants to graduate from Hogwarts, but she is struggling through more than anyone knows. The only thing that is keeping her going is the family she's found with the Weasleys. They're an odd bunch and that's exactly why she fits in. Because she doesn't. Things are simple with the Weasley family. That is until she crosses a line with one of the Weasley boys, a path that can never be retraced. Y/N finds herself trapped in a web of lies that she had created. One spark and everything she has worked for could be gone in an instant. And she's playing with fire. This story contains mature content. Trigger warnings are included at the beginning of chapters. I hope you enjoy!
The woman in the mirror (Harry Potter fanfic) by Papillon98
23 parts Complete
Fear strikes the hearts. Doubt enters the minds and trust is the one thing they need but can't find. Harry hears voices. A voice coming from the walls, whispering words that shouldn't be spoken. Something has been set loose. Something that should've never entered the grounds in the first place. Something that shouldn't even exist. People get suspicious. Is Harry to blame? Artemis wants to help him clear his name, but she soon finds her mind preoccupied with her own problems. Old doubts have resurfaced after her family gets torn apart. Parts of her history are revealed. Everyone has been lying to her and Artemis starts doubting everything she knew until now. Because being yourself is hard when you don't know who you are. The dream was the beginning. The mark was the clue. And the woman in the mirror was the answer. ~~~ The woman in the mirror is the second book in the Artemis Lupin series. Read 'The girl with golden hair' first. She was used to investigating mysteries on her own. People were untrustworthy. They lied. They tried to change the past. But the past couldn't be changed. Her own past was complicated. Especially because she wasn't the one hiding it, it was kept from her. For a good reason, they thought. The dream was her only lead. The only way to figure it all out. The dream was simply the end of a curse and the beginning of a nightmare. Because some secrets are better kept secret. The web of lies and deceit only got more complicated. Familymembers talked out of turn. The wise man was far too interested and the dark saw the truth in her eyes. Because her dream was simply the story. The story of betrayal, friendship but mostly death. But the thing that could ruin it all, was the very thing they couldn't change. It was the only truth in the past of lies. Her grey eyes and his black blood. ~completed on 29 August 2017~ (*Disclaimer* all rights go to J.K. Rowling. You can read this without having read the book.)

Amelia goes through life as a normal young witch starting at Hogwarts. But as time goes on she realizes just how abnormal she truly is. Will she be able to defeat her betrayers? "...this story is very unique. There's been no mistake in my part for clicking the "read" button!" "Wow! The story plot is really good. It's really interesting-love it! Update pleeeease!" "I LOVE your book! It's amazing and I want to keep reading more...Amelia is one of the most perfectly formed characters I've ever read!" "This book just doesn't lose it's magic!" ------------------ Dislaimer!!!!!!!! Lots of the things in here are copied from the books, like the sorting hat song, and Dumbledore's speeches etc. Just to say, I don't own any of that, or the idea of Hogwarts. That all belongs to the one and only J K Rowling. But this is a work of fanfic so I feel like some copied stuff is to be expected.
The Girl Who Saw Tomorrow III » Harry Potter by bugsies
24 parts Ongoing Mature
BOOK 3 OF THE GIRL WHO SAW TOMORROW - Make sure you have read the first two. ❝No one, no matter how great, can know of their own Destiny...❞ As the war against Voldemort rages, an unexpected rebellion brews amidst the crowds. For the first time since the time of Merlin, legends of a magical being are spreading across the Wizarding and Muggle worlds, sending into peril the very Statute of Secrecy that has allowed the Wizarding kind to live in freedom. Some call them a saviour, others call them a dangerous untamable force. But all agree on one thing: Darkness itself bends to their will. And nothing dark is ever good, right? Alas, there is no answer in sight. Harry Potter is nowhere to be found. Hogwarts has been overrun by Death Eaters. The Order of the Phoenix is in hiding. The Ministry is in shambles. And Lord Voldemort is breathing fear into every aspect of life. In the eye of the storm stands Margaret Xenakis. Meticulously planning aspects of the future could have never prepared her for the bloodshed of war. When a legendary magical society offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance, Margaret realises that the Wizarding World outside Hogwarts is much more complex than she had expected. With her own life at stake, she must make her stand for the greater good before it's too late. No matter how unprepared or unworthy she feels. It is up to her, and only her, to minimise the damage of the crossfire. Sounds like a lot? Add Death, Darkness and Doom to the mix. Talk about absolutely unhinged luck... ~~~ Warning: this fic is a giant band-aid to the plot boo-boos of Deathly Hallows book and movie storylines :)
