It came out of nowhere, then he came out of nowhere...

"One stupid decision.. Now I'm all alone in this big world...."

Skye's a girl who doesn't listen to shit. Not even her parents. But one day when Skye pushes her limitations too far, it costs her parents their life. Except, her life should have ended in the crash, but she ended up on the side of the road, safe and unscratched.

Alec was born a demon and he loved it. The women, the destruction, the power. Everything was going perfect. Until, on his 17th Resq, or a demons birthday, the underworld was overtaken by the heavens. All demons are driven into the Earth realm and Alec surely isn't happy about it. He is forced to save lives every month or he perishes. But that doesn't stop Alec from causing havoc on humans. Skye was just an opportunity he saw for himself. Little does he know she's not like other victims.

But what happens when Skye finds out why exactly she survived without harm?
