"You think yourself a fateful captain and the rest of these human mongrels as your loyal crew, but your ship is sinking. Open your eyes Nelson. Earth is imploding, and you're powerless to stop it. You won't stop it."

"I will"

Cecil bellowed a humorless laugh in response as he stalked off in the direction of his base camp with the three corpses in tow.

"Oh, and Nell? Don't forget, a captain always goes down with their ship."

Earth is sent into havoc after the release of an airborne alien chemical throughout the planet ravages the human population, decimating both young and old alike.

Once children and adults tragically succumb to the lethal effects of the toxin, leaving only misguided teens to face the after-effects of the alien fallout, Earth essentially becomes what many dub a 'teenage wasteland.'

As for those behind the horrific deed, they believe that they've set Earth up for 'auto-destruct' and excitedly await for the tarnished planet to crash and burn under the control of its misguided youth. Nell and her makeshift team of 'heroes,' however, are on a mission to bring salvation to their world and prove those alien freaks wrong.

However, being a teenager is hard enough as it is without the added stress of keeping the world in check after mass genocide, and with the threat of alien chemicals, identity crises, reckless adventures, death, and unconventional love looming in the air, will Nell be able to survive long enough to help pull the planet back together?

The mission won't be easy; Earth hangs in the balance of adolescence as other worlds excitedly await its doom. But there's no telling what may happen in this teenage wasteland.
