17 year old Nicole and her three best friends - Zach, Juliana, and Austin - are in a band called Greenlight. After performing in a Battle of the Bands tournament, the group finds themselves going from making cover videos in Zach's garage to performing on stage in front of thousands of people - and some of those people just so happened to be the members of their favorite band, 5 Seconds of Summer.
5SOS take an interest in Greenlight after seeing one of their concerts, and give them the opportunity to be the opening act on their upcoming tour. However, with Nicole hiding something about herself from everyone, spending so much time on the road is sure to reveal the truth - just maybe not to the person she thought she would end up telling...
