The Jedi believe the Force belongs to those who serve the light.

They are wrong.

On a distant world battered by a violent storm, six Jedi Padawans are hunted by a Sith Lord who has no intention of letting them escape. Darth Bruticus is ruthless, unpredictable, and terrifyingly powerful-and he has been searching for something far more important than the Jedi.

A boy.

Force-sensitive and unaware of the power growing inside him, the child is taken to the ancient Sith world of Korriban, where Darth Kaiz is ordered to begin his training. Surrounded by ancient warriors, deadly apprentices, and the forgotten teachings of the Sith, the boy must learn to survive in a world where weakness means death.

But there is something different about him.

Something even the Sith do not understand.

As his connection to the dark side grows stronger, the Jedi begin closing in. What starts as the training of one Force-sensitive child soon becomes a battle that could determine the fate of both the Jedi and the Sith.

Darth Bruticus believes he has found the weapon he needs.

The Jedi believe they can still save the boy.

And the boy must decide for himself what he will become.

In the darkness, power has no limits.

And sometimes, the greatest threat to the galaxy isn't born evil...
