Thomas is a teenage boy who struggles with is feelings. 

His mum has passed away and his father is always busy. 

He has been bullied since he was young, especially for his sexuality. 

This is a short story, if anyone finds anything offensive, please understand I am not writing this in support of the subject matter. 
It was a mere way to pass the time.

A short story I had to write for English Class, but I decided to post it here! I am really happy with how this turned out, but I have a few warnings for it. This short story includes talk about being gay and bi, as well as contains physical and emotional abuse. If you are triggered by any of these things please don't read. This has come from all of my own thoughts. I will include a pre-write I did in English class to help us brainstorm ideas. I am sorry if it's confusing, but I wanted to try something new.

(WARNING I DIDN'T CAPITALIZE THIS STORY, AND THIS IS MY FIRST MENTAL HEALTH STORY SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME AND I DO WANT TO HEAR OPINIONS ON HOW I CAN GROW BETTER IN THE FUTURE シ thank you.) Nolan is a young adult who goes through stages of grief from a mental illness called ptsd which causes him to feel conflict of which he endures mostly towards his relationship with Elliot Hamilton. It is up to Elliot to show Nolan just how much he means to the world with little things that constantly consist of the two's everyday lifestyle. Nolan has to learn how to love all while setting aside the traumatic pain he endured by trying to become a better vision of himself for his lover.

[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. Maybe more days if I'm not busy or I'm motivated to do so. ⚠️ TW ⚠️ -boyxboy (shouldn't be a warning smh) -suicidal thoughts -self harm (cutting, etc) -no smut, probably fluff though -throwing up I didn't take the photo in the cover. I only added the text. This story does have a happy ending, because I also realized how much of an impact reading angst stories without one has on me. I also just want it to end well, and you probably do as well. Good luck reading, and thank you in advance.

He tries and fights for acceptance. However, it seems like the war going on inside him may just take over. Thomas is confused about who he really is until he meets one special individual that changes his life forever.

"Most trans people want to forget that the female or male them existed, but Arizona is a part of me and I don't want to forget those days. Sure, we argued and I still woke up with bloody sheets each month, but she taught me things no teacher could."
