What if everything that was happening was a whirlwind around you, and you were being caught in the wind and being pulled every which way?

What if your mind was a mess, and nothing ever seemed to go right?

What if you suddenly wished upon a star, and suddenly there was someone to save you?

Meet Lauryn Rose. 
A typical student at EastWard high, with her life slowly crumbling down around her.

When her older brother dies in a vehicle accident, and her parents fighting and filing papers for a divorce while her mother moved away, Lauryn is being torn apart with choices.

What she doesn't know, that wishing upon stars with a confused mind doesn't bring very much good fortune.
