"Bethany speaking." I say as I pick up the phone that lay before me, ringing only moments before. "We have a problem." Jared says, his words slamming into me like a concrete wall. "The Luna Tree is dying." The Luna Tree is a mythical tree - one from many fairytales you speak of to children. Yet when Bethany Mayne rose through the ranks of her pack to being a Lone Luna, she was entrusted with the fable of the Luna Tree, also being entrusted with guarding it. And now it was dying.

When he was ten, Benjamin Hidalgo's world revolved around Samantha Coronel. When he turned 15, he went off and broke Sam's heart. Now that he's 17, he just wants to kiss and makeup. But is Sam ready to forgive him, especially when he takes things a little too literally? * * * * * From the writer of the travel-themed contemporary romance All's Fair in Blog and War and the Luna East short story Sitting in a Tree, is a new story about love, high school, kissing, and totally unnecessary school uniform vests. This multi-part short story is from Luna East Arts Academy. For more stories from the same universe, check out Kids These Days: Stories from Luna East Arts Academy volume 1.
