The girl, Elaine, winces, stumbling as she holds her side. Her hand stains with blood insantly. Without hesitating, Sif rushes over to her, helping her stand. "You are hurt, young one. You have just come from battle, I think."

Elaine nods, but tries to push Sif away. "I must give her a warning. I must..." Before she can say another word, Elaine falls to the ground, her eyes fluttering closed as the wound in her side pour blood. 

Sif turns to Hogun. "Run! Get help!" Hogun nods, turning and rushing away at furious speed. Sif turns back to the mysterious girl, holding a hand to her wound. "Do not fear. Hogun has gone for Eir, our healer. She will make you well." Elaine continues to mumble unrecognizable things. "What is it? Who are you trying to get to?"

Elaine turns to Sif, grabbing the warrior by her arm. Sif's attention is caught, focusing only on the next words that she utters.

"I must speak with Gloria Maximoff."

It's been five years since the Maximoffs said goodbye to the Avengers and their old lives. As far as the world knows, they're long dead. Living in Sokovia has treated them well, but everyone feels that something is coming.

When Thor comes back to Earth for the first time in years, he tells of a girl who came through the Bifrost with one of the Infinity Stones in her possession: the Time Stone. She claims to be from the future and comes with a apocalyptic message: The universe itself will be destroyed if Glory and the Avengers can't change the past.

Thanos is coming, with him Death and destruction, as he claims each Infinity Stone for his own. This is the Infinity War Glory has been dreading.

Who is Elaine Nomad? Is she who she says she is? Will Glory and Pietro be able to pull the Avengers back together to save the universe from Thanos? Will this dance with Death be the end of the Avengers?

Instead of bringing Pietro back, the machine sends his body and mind to an alternate reality, where the Avengers are in comics and movies, and Quicksilver himself is no more than a famed character among nerds. Glory Northern is a high school student, almost to college. Planning to major in Creative Writing, she plans to try to work for Marvel Comics, creating the very characters she loves so much. Y/n is a young teenager who just recently moved to New York from Europe where she lived with friends. She's presumably an orphan, though she never knew for sure as she knows nothing about her family. Due to her intelligence many schools like Midtown-High offered her a spot in a class two years above her age and made a deal with her that she'd get everything that was necessary for going to their school and that she wouldn't need a guardian to sign stuff. In return, the school gets a better reputation by having a highly intelligent student joining it's classes. In NYC, she lives alone in an apartment as she can take care of herself. Also, she is very skilled in any kind of science. Physically, she can do much as well. After her first day at her new school, she wanted to text her new friend but read a 7 as a 1, resulting her to text an unknown number of someone quite famous. -Does she gain their trust and the other way around or is it the opposite? -Is she going to find out about her family? -Why did she choose exactly that school? '-> Was she planning something? Read to find out ;) This story differences from most wrong number stories and takes place in another universe where Pietro is still alive. After their third, and hopefully final encounter with Thanos, the reunited Avengers are left to pick up the pieces of the last five years and attempt to move on with their lives. Even with the giant hole left behind by the loss of Tony and Vision, they're still met with the joy that Natasha's return brings. With Sam and Bucky temporarily living with Freya and Steve, who are excitedly expecting twins, things seem like they're slowly returning to a new normal. But Freya can't seem to shake an uneasy feeling after her brief, but nearly violent confrontation with Wanda. The feeling isn't only putting her on edge, but it carries a darkness with it as well. Not long after Wanda leaves, something causes Freya to have an episode with her powers. But instead of her powers lashing out, they're forced to contain an out of control Freya in order to protect the others. Once it passes, new revelations begin to tie everything back to Wanda and her unknown activities. Freya worries for the younger woman and hopes she didn't make a mistake by encouraging her to take time for herself. However, that worry and hope quickly dissolves into fear and guilt when an old friend reaches out for help with a situation only Freya might understand. Without hesitation, Freya, Steve, Sam and Bucky rush to aid the contact. Only to come face to face with something so bizarre and terrifying, even Freya has the urge to stay away.
