Genevieve, Jen, is the only daughter of wealthy businessman Edward Faye she lives in the lap of luxury in a large house and has more money than she knows what to do with. Or does she? She and her brothers Shane and Charles, Charlie, are beaten mercilessly by their parents and when Charlie moves out to go to college it's up to Jen to protect Shane until one day when Charlie and Jen put a plan into action to stop their parents once and for all.

Now living with their brother, Shane and Jen begin starting normal lives. One day Jen is playing guitar and singing, her true passion, when her brother's friends hear her and try to recruit her for the band they are trying to form. As she's rebuilding her life the music helps dull the pain of the past and points her to her future but will her past come back to haunt her?
