Success stories: Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana - a world famous fashion house - was founded in 1985 in Legnano, Italy by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The two met at a club in 1980. For a couple of years, they worked for a designer and then opened their own consulting studio. Dolce and Gabbana used to issue separate invoices for their work even if they were involved in the same project. Once they were suggested to file a single invoice under two names. This is how the brand was born. Today it's a highly successful business with 3,000+ employees and sales of their products worldwide.
