Elaine's life is going according to plan. She's on the fast track to make partner at one of New York's most prominent law firms. She's engaged to a Wall Street superstar who shares her goals and ambitions. When her father dies and leaves everything to her, everything is put at risk. Now she must return to the one place she swore she'd never return to, to deal with the one thing she wants nothing to do with. Upon arrival, she comes face to face with man that broke her heart in high school and the reason she fled to New York to begin with. With all the old feelings starting to surface, Elaine can't wait to sell the ranch and get back to her real life. Too bad dear old dad knew what she'd do and placed a caveat on her inheritance. She must live on the family ranch for three years before she can sell. Should she choose not to abide by the terms, someone else will get it all and she'll get nothing. Will she stay or will she go? Only time will tell.

What would you do if you had the chance to start over? Charlene Walker has suffered a fatal car crash but lived to tell the tale. The only catch? She's lost her memory. Her young and quite dashing English teacher Mr. Collins, begins to encourage her by allowing Charly to see things in a different way. A second chance to start over with family and friends. But strangely enough after spending time at her high school which feels all new to her as well as as spending time with Mr. Collins, who she finds she has a new outlook on and an attraction to. Mr. Collins was never fond of Charly Walker before but soon learns he can help to change and encourage her. Making friends all over again isn't easy, especially when Charly realizes her friends are nothing more than high school royalty and queen bee's, but things could get even messier when Charly decides to break up with her popular boyfriend Keith Carlisle and the queen bee's bring up a bet that was once made; that Charly couldn't get Mr. Collins to fall in love with her, just like she can with every other guy. Not only has her amnesia brought drama to her life but also chaos when a dangerous drug dealer demands money from Charly and at one point takes things too far. As she gains an entire new perspective on her life after her memory is wiped clean, Charly realizes who she really cares about and that maybe losing her memory was for the better.
