Wherein Harry broods about his life on the car ride home, reaches a truce with his relatives, gets angry and almost harms Hedwig, exchanges mutual apologies with Dudley, writes a demand letter to Dumbledore, becomes friendly with Dudley, corresponds with Ron, gets his own clothes, begins working out at Dudley's gym, meets a mysterious karate teacher, begins to learn wandless, silent magic, and learns a little about his cousin.

A second perspective. This story begins before Harry's third year at Hogwarts. Summer has only just begun, but Harry Potter already knows it's going to be different. A storm is brewing - not in the skies above Privet Drive, but within himself. When a chance encounter in Diagon Alley changes how he sees the world, Harry returns to Hogwarts with new eyes and heavier questions. Old friendships strain, unlikely ones begin, and the familiar walls of the castle start to feel... different. Darkness moves closer to the school - and to Harry - but this year, the real challenge isn't what hides in the shadows.
