Emma Starfield was adopted by a leader... not just any leader the heros' leader himself. Everyone hates the fact that she different even though their all heroes' fighting for good. They live on the planet, which they share with the villains. They're almost always constantly in battles with the each other.
Every thousand years they have a 'chosen day' where each director from villain and hero side chooses the top five in their class to challenge each other. The five that survive, hero or villain is sent into the real world to be their savior or destroyer.
Who is sent into the real world? Who knows, but along the way they discover that no one knows the truth until its been told.

The Betrayer and the Betrayed
In the not-so-distant future evolved humans emerged. Those who had powers that broke conventional laws of physics, chemistry, and biology were dubbed E.H.s (evolved humans); it was wondrous for a time. Of course if there was power to be used there would be those who misuse. To that end the evolved humans police department was formed to deal with all crime committed by or connected to E.H.s, a force entirely comprised of E.H.s trained to stop and capture any E.H. breaking the law. Adlet Blacksteel is the newest edition to the E.H.P.D., his skills and experience as a hostage extractor makes him an invaluable edition. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. [Formerly Featured!] Coming back from a vacation, with a gun pointed at her head was definitely not what Jean Saunders expected. Especially seeing a man flying around in the air, claiming to be the city's superhero. At least he wasn't wearing that embarrassing spandex outfit. Alas, due to her capability for getting into trouble, the city's superhero eventually recognises her and not in a good way, at all. Catching a superhero's attention is never a good thing. -------------------------- Opening and closing his mouth, he made some gestures as if he was trying to speak but he couldn't find the words to convey his message. "...what are you?" He finally managed to speak and I blinked my eyes at him. The heck? Does he think I am some sort of...alien? It's not like I'm some kind of weird species! Villains are mean liars with evil intentions and an arrogant self importance that will lead to the destruction of others. The dark powered must be stopped or else the poor and innocent light powered be forced under a reign of Terror. That's what it looks like from a normal point of view, but is it all true? We never know because we never really hear the Villain's story. There are many bad people out there but is it destiny and fate that keeps some behind bars and others in the comfort of their homes? Can we not fight against our destiny and choose our own path? Villains are always hated, but do all of them deserve it?Complete

A city filled with heros, more heros then there is crime. Theres no point in Asteria, a funny sarcastic super, becomeing a hero not that she wants to be one. But with heros comes villains. In Particular a villain by the name of invisible mystery. He is know as mysterious and evil. Is he out for revenge? No one knows.
