Three years after Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Clark Kent has decided to marry Lois Lane, leaving Batman, Wonder Woman, and the lost Aquaman to fight the forces of evil. When Lex Luthor is busted out of jail by the Enchantress and El Diablo, the three sneak attack the Batcave leaving the majority of Bruce Wayne's high-tech lair in a massive ruin and Wayne's butler Alfred Pennyworth badly injured, Clark Kent is forced to rejoin the old gang once he learns that he and Lois are on the three villains' hit list along with Wonder Woman and Aquaman.
