I'm just writing this fic on here so I can get some rough drafts done and so some friends can read it, I'll probably will put a link down below once/if I get to the finalized version, now now enjoy this midevilstuck fic. IF you catch any typeos please point them out, it will help with making the final version and advice and feedback is greatly appreciated!
Dave was a prince, a heir to his brothers throne in a kingdom on the brink of war. Dave is required to choose between four lovely princesses incase anything were to happen to his brother. Dave knows he can not carry the burden of ruling over people, and is afraid that if he ever becomes king he will be forced to see his empire crumble before his eyes. In his frustration and only a week left to choose his bride, he runs off to the kitchens. There he meets a boy that he instantly falls in love with, love at first sight. Dave and karkat run away and embark on wild chases, and struggle to keep daves idenitity as the missing prince of derse a secret.

It's difficult enough for a young mutant prince to choose between the hand of the princess of the sea dwellers and the prince of humans. Add one begrudgingly attractive assassin and a handful of curveballs and you've got yourself one hell of an issue. I know there will be some misconception, but this is not a "Karkat is a highblood now" story. All of that will be explained. Just know that he is still a mutant blood and the rest will come later. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. For some reason, Ink, the Creator and Protector of the Sans AUs, has decided that some of the Sanses of the Multiverse should go to highschool again. Honestly, no one really liked the idea, especially the Bad Sanses, including Ink's enemy, Error. Prince Nightmare is one of the AUs that must repeat these years of treachery. He basically only finished his actual highschool, and is NOT looking forward to having to do it again. Luckily his brother, Prince Dream, will be coming along the journey beside him. But Nightmare and Dream Are polar opposites, so Nightmare can't really get along with his brother's friends, nor Dream get along with Nightmare's, if he had any. With rules to follow and secrets to keep, Nightmare must go through highschool and not let slip the terrible things that happen at home. But then suddenly the two princes disappear. There's no trace as to who might've taken them, either. The only one that doesn't seem concerned is their own father, the king. King Sun-Beam. What is he hiding underneath all of those jewels and fake smiles? A/N: There is lemon/smut. So all you innocent people out there-- don't worry!
