Sydney lives in a ten story apartment in Holmes Chapel, England. She lives in flat 1D; now you would think that is the main level, but no. It goes backwards, ten being the bottom floor, and one the top. Every day Sydney climbs the stairs back up to her flat after her shift at the local café. She doesn’t really know anyone in her building, never mind her floor; until one day her world collides with another, literally. She meets the curly haired boy down the hall, and the rest is history.
