A complicated story following a god by the name of Calcine Blight. After Calcine starts a fight with his brother, Ebony, his father, Obnotus, throws both him, and his brother to earth, realizing that they are not yet ready for the task of taking his job once he is dead. They will have to learn what it's like to be human, before they know what it is like being a god, and as a side job, learning the true value of a life, and the justice or tragedy of death.
And to learn this, they must become, the Grim Reaper.
But with all the pressure of life and death in their hands, will they crack, or be broken by choices of such magnitude? Find out in,

When The Raven's Feathers Fall
Grim doesnt remember anything if his past. All he does is work but tgat all changes when he has to go to a school to watch his next victim. He starts feeling things he shouldn't and his past starts coming back to him. Filled with terror and rage he begins look to his work for the release he needs. Raven hasn't had a good life but it starts to change the day a new kid, Grim, shows up. Grim doesn't really talk to anyone he just stares, but soon he becomes irritable and Raven takes notice. When we were talking about our future jobs we all were waiting for Grim to speak, the answer he gave was terrifying. I decided to follow him one night and what I found should have made me hate him but I felt like I could understand him...I wanted to talk to him and be his friend. Now that I think about it, it probably wasn't the best of ideas but I don't regret it for one minute.Complete

As the thirteenth child of the legendary Grim Reaper, Dire Grim is expected to be just like his older siblings, and perhaps, in some ways, he is, but not in the ways that really matter. Sure, he looks like them, and tries to follow in their footsteps, but no matter how much he tries to be the invincible 'lord of death' his father expects him to be, something inside him seems to pull him down a forbidden path that could lead to his true destiny... or his inevitable demise. A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.
