Irene Feavens is a huge fan of the dating simulator, Code*Heart. She comes from a family of wealth and can afford all the merchandise. When her mother dies unexpectedly and her father's company goes bankrupt, her life of luxury and attractive fictional characters is over and she sells all her stuff. Adapting to 'actual issues' is a challenge for Irene, and no one takes her small problems seriously. Code*Heart meant the world to her. One day, the Code*Heart Dev team makes an announcement that they will be hosting a contest to win an undisclosed prize. When she wins, her world flips upside down. Is a prize always such a good thing though?

Imagine you were at a nightclub. Then imagine you hooked up with an incredibly cute girl. THEN imagine that she reveals she's actually a vampire and she's going to eat you, and not in the way you expected. But then she offers you a choice. If you were me, what option would you pick? Die and have all your blood drained by a vampire, or become the girlfriend of said vampire and have her use you for blood? I think you know what option I chose, and I think you know where this story is going... Isla was just out at a club one night, looking for a cute girl to hook up with. That's when she meets Morgan: a gorgeous, mysterious and simply irresistible girl who seems to take an interest in her. They chat and flirt for a while and decide to go back to Morgan's apartment, where they get ready to make love on the couch. What Isla doesn't know is that Morgan is actually a vampire, only hooking up with Isla in order to eat her- Isla only realising this when she sinks her teeth into her neck and starts drinking her blood. But Morgan presents her with two options: Die right there and then, or become her girlfriend and stay alive, with the condition that she can drink her blood when she's thirsty. Isla reluctantly picks the second option. Since she's stuck with Morgan, she's faced with having to getting to know her better in order to make the relationship work and stay alive. But, she finds herself, slowly but surely, actually catching feelings for her. Maybe being in a forced relationship with a vampire isn't all that bad after all. #2 in vampirexhuman #2 in lgbtfantasy

Bella is the girl who lost everything to cancer, and her world suddenly revolves around her sickness. She lost her friends, her mother, her confidence. Her life became a series of doctor visits, stories in her head, and hours of making up for the work she misses in school. She never expects anything out of herself or life because she doesn't want to get her hopes up. Everything changes when she gets partnered up for a physics project with Liam. Liam is the opposite of Bella, always looking at the future and keeping his hopes high. But his bipolar mother keeps him back, always derailing his life. Taking care of his mom without his dad, he always buried everything he felt. But when he gets partnered with his childhood crush for a physics project, Bella, his perspective with his mother and himself changes. They challenge each other, impacting their own mindsets and decisions, feelings for each other kindling. When Bella learns the truth of her mother leaving and when she gets to the lowest point in her life, his faith in her strength leads her to believe there's a world that doesn't revolve around her.
