Ryia, a peasant girl who lost her mother, is taken in by a former Knight of The Round Table, and is trained and raised to be the best swords-woman in all of Atrus. Atrus, the country where she lives, has four Kingdoms, Camelot, who is ruled by King Arther. Bireme, the kingdom of Elves. Acieth, the kingdom of Mages. And Phalanx the kingdom ruled by the horrid king Drealka. While Bireme, Acieth and Camelot are allies, the kingdom of Phalanx is their enemy. Ruled by the deadly king, Drealka, it's land holds dark forests full of thieves and dark creatures. Soon after she reaches the King's Castle in Camelot she is given a task to set off, meeting many obstacles on the way, with the help of the prince, a  dark mage, and a cheerful elf.
