The Rat King
My name is Nolan Moore and something special happened to me. Or at least that is what the psychiatrist calls it. I think it was disturbing, too horrific for words. What happened to me was something that keeps me up at night. Sometimes I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, even days. I get shivers down my spine even writing this down, but I have a feeling that I will be gone soon. So, if you read this, then you get a glimpse of my soul. I pray that before the end of my story I will get forgiveness for everything I have done. Just remember I did this because I thought it was the best thing at the time. Clearly, it wasn't. Time is a thin line floating between what was and what will be. It's flowing through space hoping to reach an end. Normally whenever someone makes a choice, time itself splits and although we don't feel a thing, it still happens, nonetheless. But now something happened that had never happened before.
