Alex always feel that his life is missing something. In his early twenties when all his friends are so excited about their lives, Alex feels the complete opposite. But dont get it wrong, Alex is far from ugly and pitiful, instead he is attractive and interesting. Only, He feels that what he is looking for is not in this life, he never know what it is that he is lacking, he only sees this life as an endless torture of boredom.
It is not long untill he consider death as the answer. For him death is a concept that will never be explained unless one experienced it. And something unknown like that reeks of an adventure, the adventure to lead him out of this life. And the fear of death pale in comparison to the excitement that he expect from death.
At the moment when he reach his peace and ready to embrace death he thought to himself 'now that i'm ready for my death, why not give one chance for a tommorow? I have waited 23 years untill I reach this decision, why not one more day?'
But at that time he didn't know how much that one chance would change his life

I Became The Villain's Secretary
After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully. So I just cleared all the suspicions he might have about me in order to not incur his wrath and die like in the novel. * * * "I'll give you a choice." The corner of his lips raised crookedly. Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. "Now, what weakness could that be-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before a set of teeth sank into the sensitive flesh of my neck, sending an unexpected wave of pleasure through me. "W-wait, not there. Fine, fine. I'll be your friend. Just stop that shit." Zack paused, his breath hot against my skin as he chuckled. "That wasn't so hard, was it?" His tone was dripping with satisfaction, revelling in his perceived victory. He pulled back slightly, his eyes locked onto mine with a predatory glint. I tried to steady my breathing, my pulse racing from the conflicting sensations. "What is wrong with you?" I muttered, more to myself than to him.
