Against All Odds

Vincent Greenwood is an ordinary horseman working for Lord Nathaniel Winters. He has lived his twelve years of serving him in peace and joy, well not exactly peaceful, for his close relationship to Lord Winters led him to be an enemy to Jacob Winters, Lord Winter's eldest son. It was actually normal to Vincent to be Jacob's 'Apple of the Eye' and did his very best to ignore it. But one uneventful day led him to give Jacob a few blows on the face and leave the Winter's estate for good.

Jobless, Vincent decides to went home to his family, only to be beaten up, robbed at the street and left to die. Good thing, a carriage bound to Nottinghamshire stopped and helped him and his companion. They were then brought to the grand Blackwell Estate and once recovered from their injuries, they were offered a job which they gladly accepted. And accepting the job changed his life. Both for good and bad.

Arianna Blackwell know it very well what is expected of her. Now turning eighteen and evidently out of her fininshing school, she is expected to bring to life what she had learn in studying in that hideous place called school-to become a proper, elegant, refined young debutante the society will be fond of. But how could she when all she wanted to be was to become a woman who follows her hearts desires? Especially when all she wanted to have for a husband was a certain silver eyed young man who does his very best in ignoring her existence.

Yet as time passed the barrier between a servant and a mistress slowly fade away as friendship developed and soon- love.

But their different statuses in life would surely bring them trials that will test their love and faith for each other. Will they be able to satnd together Against All Odds? Or will they torn apart by the cruelty of reality?
