With a childhood stolen, Myra had always felt like she grew up too fast, bearing too much responsibility for a child her age. Her father's death had tossed her into a vortex of confusion and dubiety, of doubt and incertanity. The pain she felt at his memory was intense, signifying her unhealed wounds.

Covinced by a belief that the root of all her problems was her ignorance, she tries to discover her father's past, untangling the knots that have been tied on a subject left untouched for too long.

Myra refuses to live in the dark anymore, but could darkness be all she's throwing herself into?

This is where vinidictive souls sit upon crystal thrones, worshiped by their people. This is where demonic spirits rule hearts and consume spirit, mind and body. It is where phantoms and wraiths wander the mortal lands free and ghouls of the forest lurk in the shadows of moon-lit nights.

Here is a place where no one is safe, a place where all evil roams free.

He tightly grabs me by my waist and he holds me in place while I still continue to get captivated by whatever it is that is happening here. "Tell me what you see." He commands in a voice that sounds so beautifully smooth and pleasant to listen to. My words are choked up and I can't even begin to explain what lies in those eyes of his. Something about his presence is reeling me in, pulling me more soulfully closer to him, something that i am not even sure is possible but I feel this connection to him, this ancient ancient connection, like I had seen him before, like I had known him for a long time, a life time. And the way he's holding me !!! He feels familiar and yet I don't even know who this man is and it would be crazy if I told him that I've seen a Storm in his eyes, a storm that I had never seen anything like it in my life. It was beautiful and enchanting. Everything that he Is at the moment. "Nothing... I didn't see anything." I lie, as my mind fully gets back to me again, and the storm finally dissappears. He let's go of me and i move to stand on my own. He looks at the features all over my face before he furrows his thick brows, in concern while he continues to stand awfully close to me and gosh he smells so good. A huge strike of lightning echoes outside before immediate rain starts pouring outside. I could have sworn that there was a zero percent chance of rainfall tonight, it was clear and there were no clouds insight, the ocean below the balcony starts to get angry too as the waves get aggressive and the moon looks as vibrant as ever right now. We both look outside before we look at each other again. "Are you sure that you saw nothing ?" He asks and I nod my head at him. "Nothing..."

[Watty's Shortlist & WATTPAD PICKS -- Up and Coming List 06.07.2018] Now Available on Amazon!!! His hands moved down to cradle her neck. "I only have one request if you're going to keep me in suspense all day long." "What's that?" The movement of her lips drew his eyes down. "Let me kiss you again?" That voice, breathy and low, set Taly's heart racing. His lips twitched at the corners-he could hear it. Now that he could use his magic, he knew exactly the kind of effect he was having on her. But he didn't move. He waited. Her choice. She set the pace. Taking a shaky breath, she jerked her head. Yes. *** Magic marked her for suffering. Magic will save her. Magic will lead her home. On Tempris, time magic is outlawed, and suspected time mages are hunted. Humans are second-class citizens, shunned by the immortal fey that live on the island. They even have a name for their kind: Shardless. Taly is one of the lucky humans. Taken in by a fey noble and his family, she's lived a good life, surrounded by people she loves. But when an accidental brush with magic causes her to see things -- ghostly apparitions that give her small glimpses into the future -- it has deadly consequences. The Sanctorum has returned to the island, and if they find her, they'll kill her. And anyone that tries to protect her. This includes her best friend, Skye. He was the boy that saved her. The man she knew she could never have. And when he refuses to let her go, their actions might hold the power to reshape the world. An ancient evil is rising, and in order to protect those that she cares for, Taly will have to sacrifice everything. Including her heart.
