"Run, Ally. Run," my brother yelled while shifting into his wolf.
"I can't." I couldn't move an inch. Fear took over my whole body.
"Shift now!" I nodded my head. I shifted and ran away.
What was I running away from? That's kind of ironic, actually. You see werewolves have mates or soulmates. Now I don't think I have to explain that. Anyway, I turned 16 about almost a year ago, and I never found my mate. So I figured A he was in another country or B dead. I didn't expect to find out that my mate was the alpha demon wolf. So when you find out your mate is a killer and possibly the scariest person on the planet, you tend to run away. But he didn't really like that.
Hello and welcome to my life story. The names Ally. The game's... well, I don't actually know right now. Any who, my life was OK. Nothing to special. My brother Ty is third in command of our pack. He works most weekends, and I get to see him every Monday through Friday. It was just something that was natural for us both. Our parents... well, they were killed when our pack got attacked about four years ago. I couldn't tell you how hard it was to lose both your parents to a beast with no heart. The demon wolf was the cruelest living being on the planet. He has no heart, or soul, or even a conscious. He's called the demon wolf for many reasons. The red eyes, the midnight black hair, the unusual skin color. You might be thinking, 'He doesn't sound that bad'. Well, you haven't seen him with your own eyes, tearing your parents apart in front of you, then running off after without even the slightest regret in his eyes.
If he was even the slightest remorseful. If he was even the tinniest sorrowful... what am I saying? A beast can' t feel remorse. A beast can't feel sorry. A beast only kills for the fun of it. A beast only does it for the hunt.
