Her father blamed her for her mother's untimely death, coping his mourning with his merciless wrath ever since she could walk. Anastasija chased for the kind of love and devotion she had only ever grown up reading. Her heart was aching and yearning for the gentle intimacy and care she'd never had the luxury of witnessing, let alone expirence. She hadn't a clue what to do if it ever happened to her. But as she grew older, the cold world she lived in wasn't as magical as the pages she immersed herself in. Her once intense longing for companionship simmered down to an unattainable fantasy until a pair of steel eyes tugged strings in the heart she once thought would never awaken.
