If you looked in the corners,
you'd find her right there.
Surrounded by darkness
and curls in her hair.
With her nose in a book,
her head in the clouds,
hiding her feelings away from the crowds.
If you sat by her side, while the world passed
you by,
she'd tell you a story behind the pain in her eyes.
If you gave her five minutes, you'd see how her
smile makes all the bad things in life seem worth
while.
But you don't look in the corners, you don't even glance,
so she sits in the darkness waiting to be given a chance.
