Welcome to Andrew James Johanessy's life and mind. Seventeen years old and he feels as if he has already hit a dead end. His parents are disgusted by him, his social status still remains at ground zero, his teachers' hold a grudge against him for no reason and his life is going nowhere. Even the cat seems to have some purpose in life; even if it exists purely to slowly tear his life to shreds.

A sufferer of constant daydreaming and a lack of a body clock AJ is the perfect candidate to be shaken up by Accel Hilman; a seemly disturbed boy with a shady childhood and an openly displayed sexuality.

As soon as Accel steps on the scene AJ is drawn to him; his 'average' life discarded like garbage as he is dragged further into layers of secrets, lies, desire and mistrust. Amongst which is Accel's alarming attempts at seduction.

The only problem is, when AJ finally discovers how far into Accel's web he has tangled himself, he starts to question how exactly he is going to get back when Accel wants him and him only. Has he truly become one of 'them' or is he able to get back to the average life he now craves? And how exactly is he going to keep the cat from further ruining his life when he is to busy trying to escape Accel's enticing grasp on his heart?
