My heart pounded in my chest as I ran... I ran through the corridors that seemed to stretch endlessly. Blinking back tears that blurred my vision, I desperately sought an escape. But as the door swung open, my legs gave way beneath me and I collapsed to the floor in horror. The overpowering stench was suffocating and I felt a wave of nausea wash over me. My mind froze, as I couldn't tear my eyes away from the gruesome bloodbath in front of me. Though I wanted to struggle but my body was still with horror I just witnessed. Hearing the door close, I snapped back to reality, my entire being trembling with terror. "Don't worry, love, you'll soon get used to it," he said placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.
