Daisy Coulson wasn't crazy. Her boyfriend called her crazy, her friends were genuinely concerned, and her parents cared about her enough to hand her over to Grant Psychiatric Ward.
But the nice doctor thought she was perfectly sane.
Lincoln Campbell used to have an alcohol problem. Once he got over it, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to help people - which lead him to Grant Psychiatric Ward and Daisy Coulson.
If she was crazy, then he had to be insane.
Neither had healthy pasts, and neither was ready for the other. But somewhere, somewhere along the way, they would help each other in a way no one else could.

I paused mid-sip, lowering my cup as I looked at him-silent, but completely focused. He had my full attention.
