Little is known of their abilities; the only famous skin-changers were Beorn and his descendants (who could take the shape of a Man or of a bear), but evidently other skin-changers also existed. Famously, their lived a skin-changer commonly known as "Arrna," or Storm, since no one knew her real name. Descended from Beorn and an elf of great power, people feared such a being. What happens when her father's old friend, Gandalf, drags such a creature into the Fellowship of the Ring?
