This is a short story about a man trying to gain closure from his girlfriend's "supposed" suicide by going to the place where she "jumped"

I stood on the edge of the rooftop. My eyes closed and my mind free. I'm ready. Now is the time. I could feel my breath quickening, Breathe in, Breathe out. I slowly start to gain composure of my thoughts. I can hear the people on the ground. I can see them entering the building in their perfect dresses with their perfect hair. I look down at my Royal Blue gown and smile. It's time. I slowly exhale and let myself fall. I'm free. Well, that's what I thought when I jumped, but the world hates me. So now. I'm alive and kicking, quite literally kicking in fact. Paisley George is a screw up, her "True Love" even knew it. So she jumped, but her.... attempted suicide was a failure, now she is stuck living with her grandma. event after event, Paisley ends up becoming friends with the towns bad boys and maybe she might just fall in love with one. A girl has high grades at school and she begins to come to the end of school when a teacher she knows asks her to come and work for him as a babysitter /nanny. She moves into his house and learns that his partner is hardly around. Once she begins to look after the two kids the teacher realises that the kids love her and she loves the kids. But as his partner not being around he starts to fall for the girl even though he knows he shouldn't. He gives her lifts to school for the last few weeks then as he realises he loves her he calls into his partners hotel room as she is in town to only find that she has found someone else and has started again with them. He breaks it off fuming then goes to find the new love of his life and asks her to be his girlfriend. She agrees and then they live their lives freely with his kids and maybe another little one.
