Mutants are highly sought after to be the slaves of the wealthy highbloods. One more than others. So what happens when a certain favorite of two of Alternia's most vicious highbloods escapes and manages to find comfort and a moirail in his worst hour? Will the two be able to survive being hunted down, tortured, and worse, or will they give in, accept their fate, and surrender to the will of the highbloods?
