In someways the two of them were alike, except the fact that they lived on total opposite sides of Manhattan. She grew up in hotels and he worked in hotels, she had to take care of herself while father was settling business deals, and he had to take care of his mother picking up a job as a waiter at one of her father's many hotels.
But they both had one escape from the hurt and pain in their lives, to dance.
