Chara and Asriel didn't decide to eat the flowers or to give them to Asgore. No other human has fallen down since. So the underground remained happy and alive. This story starts with Asriel and Chara being young teens. So about 2 - 3 years have passed since Chara fell. Prince Asriel and Chara are loved and recognized by all of the underground.

I believe that Gaster is the father of Sans and Papyrus. I also don't believe that Chara is evil. The monsters are on the surface, and although they are amongst humans, most humans have accepted them.Complete
