Ever since Percy went on the quest with Frank and Hazel, he has been hearing her whispering in his mind. Gaea keeps haunting him in his dreams. Telling him things during battle. Slowly taking over his mind. Percy fears that once they arive in Greece she will try to take control of him. Will he be strong enough to resist? Or will he be consumed by the darkness Gaea brings, and destroy camp and the demigods in the process? A secluded summer camp, surrounded by a dense forest and a shimmering lake. The camp has been operating for decades, with rumors of mysterious happenings passed down by campers. The "haunted woods" and abandoned cabins give it a thrilling, eerie vibe.

Life doesn't like to be normal. Heck, maybe there isn't such thing as a "normal life." Everybody has different problems. Things start to go wrong at Camp Half-Blood. Sure, it ain't Gaea or Kronos. The struggle is they don't know what or who they're fighting. The demigods find themselves just sitting like bait on a hook. You'll never see it coming.

Percy Jackson was finally able to lay low and have a peaceful life for once. The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down. A new kid comes stumbling into Camp-Half-Blood, and the moment he lays eyes on the legendary son of Poseidon, he hated him. It didn't help that the new kid was claimed by Poseidon, making him Percy's half-brother. Rumours and lies started to circle Camp-Half-Blood. Lies about how Percy was a traitor to the Gods, that he was spying for the titans the entire time. It finally came to the point where Percy was driven out of camp. But he had to have some sort of parting words to the people who had driven him out of camp, right? Of course. Perseus Jackson's final words. "I'll be back. And this time, there would be no hero of Olympus to fight for you." Completed 07/03/18

The war did affect both of them, mentally and physically. As hard as they try to lead a normal life, things always seem to escalate and they come face to face with monsters. But the latest events made monster attacks look like sparring challenges. Annabeth and Percy are enjoying an evening at the beach when red alert is sounded. Seems like a camper has gone missing. Who? But it is not only about a missing camper. Turns out it is not at all about a missing camper. This is something deeper, which will bring Percabeth more closer to death than they have ever been..... Will they ever get out of this quagmire? Or get tangled in the strings if their own fate.... Controlled by Gaia....

I went to summer camp thinking it would be fun. Thinking it would be filled with memories and joy. It was, just... in a different way.

The air smelled of gasoline and death. That's what woke me first. Not the searing pain in my side or the impossible heat coming from somewhere behind me. No, it was the smell. And then the memories hit me like the bus hit the tree. And I was rolling down the side of a mountain, surrounded by ten other screaming kids and three panicked adults. All of which had a ninety six percent chance of death. My eyes were open. My emerald eyes, so rare that only two percent of the population had them. And my throat was burning, and my skin was tingling. And all I could think about was the probability that I was dying. Scattered around me I knew were twelve other people with a ninety nine percent chance of already being dead. And I didn't look around to find out. Because I knew I was one hundred percent right.
