Rebellious 17 year old Savannah King believes she has her life all figured out. After finishing high school, leave home and her mom, who she calls by her name - CoCo. She believes thoroughly that the only person she ever needed was her beloved father who tragically passed when she was still too young and far from ready to let him go. Ever since than she always felt alone, becoming accustomed to not needing anyone in her life for very long periods of time or not at all. As far as she cares, the more alone she is, the better. That is till the fateful night she accidentally gets caught sneaking into the home of her stepfather, semi intoxicated after a night of partying. Savannah is forced to attend an old boarding school in another town as her mother's way of trying to save her destructive daughter. Savannah's life as she knows it will never be the same again after her encounter with a young man called Dimitri who she cannot seem to stay away from no matter how hard she tries. The feeling seems to be mutual as he is there at almost every corner. It doesn't take long for Savannah to fall crazily in love with Dimitri whilst at the same time becoming aware of the urban legends of the woods surrounding the school and town she has been sent to. The fact that the woods are off limits and not allowed to be entered, only intrigues Savannah's interest even more. But little does she know, Dimitri knows more then what he is letting on. Are the woods merely woods? Or is there more to it then meets the eye? What does Dimitri know which he is refusing to tell Savannah? Why is she constantly being warned to stay away from the woods? Can urban legends be true? Will their love survive the truth? All questions are answered in this different take on love, friendship and the journey to discovering the truth, yourself and what is worth living and fighting for.
