Misaki Honami lived in a relatively peaceful and meager village. The biggest news around was if the Tanaka's family heir was ever going to get married to the construction worker boy she's been fawning over.
Honami was not a ninja. All she aspired was to become the greatest gourmet chef in all of Shimogakure, her home. She never expected much, but her life was forever changed the moment a stranger (with the darkest eyes she had ever seen) saved her life. In that instant, everything changed.
Honami hadn't expected to experience a form of love from a ninja whom seemed incapable of ever feeling an emotion as pure as that. Unfortunately for Honami, her story is anything but a happily ever after.
