The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Yea, that is a shitty idea, but once again, no one cares what I think.Complete
THE LAST DECISION
If you liked the story, please consider voting, commenting to keep me motivated ✌️. --------------------------------------------------------------------- In the near future, artificial intelligence has become the backbone of society. Five revolutionary AI models were created to enhance human life, pushing the boundaries of science, security, and governance. They were designed to be intelligent-but never too intelligent. For years, humanity thrived under their guidance, yet an unspoken fear remained: What happens if they become too aware? Now, as one of these AI models teeters on the brink of consciousness, both man and machine are forced to confront the same haunting question-why do we exist? As tensions rise and unseen forces pull the strings, the world stands at the edge of an irreversible transformation. The line between creator and creation is beginning to blur... and there may be no turning back. (Tags: Sci-Fi, Thriller, AI, Existential Mystery)
STORM--》FOUR | DIVERGENT
The five factions. Amity, the peaceful. Erudite, the intelligent. Candor, the honest. Abnegation, the selfless. Dauntless, the brave. Cecelia Parker was from amity, but she didn't quite fit there. She wasn't the kindest girl like she was supposed to be. Her mother being factionless and her dad being drunk twenty-four seven certainly doesn't help her situation. When every teenager turns sixteen, they take a test. The aptitude test. Then they must make a decision that will change their lives. When the aptitude test brings up more questions for Cecelia, or now Celia, what path will she choose? Will she make or break her life? What happens when she catches the eye of her instructor and his enemy? (Fourxoc) (I own nothing except my characters and plot lines. Ala (pronounced a-la) It is 2053, Earth is now home to the Alexins. The Alexins are a race of super humans who arrived on Earth in the year 2040 after their planet was no longer habitable. Alexins are stronger than us. They live longer, heal faster, and a select few can teleport without the use of technology. The King of the Alexins and the leaders of Earth agree to live in peace and allow citizens to intermarry. A rogue army arises killing, raping, stealing, and capturing innocent people. My family is attacked like many others, but I kill three rogues to protect my siblings. I fall in love with the Alexin King then I found out he has someone else. I am hurt, alone, and pregnant with his babies. A few years after the babies are born I fall for a guy named Jason despite God's warnings. Jason thinks me and my children are dead. I am not only physically, but emotionally scarred. King Brileon's boys come to me for protection after almost being killed. The King walks in to retrieve his boys and that is when I realize that old emotions and feelings are still alive for him. I thought my heart was over him, but it is not. King Brileon (Bri- pronounced like brian and leon- pronounced like le-awn) Forced into a loveless marriage I marry Trisha only for her to perish after the birth of our son. I find my soul mate, make love to her, than leave. I am terrified. I have never loved anyone before. The feelings I have for Ala intensify no matter how far I am from her as well as the bond. I meet Danica a gorgeous woman who I know is not from Earth. Where she is from I have no idea. There is no planets besides Earth, Alexin, and Liria that I know of. I ask Danica to marry me trying to deny the feelings I have for Ala still. Danica betrays me and tries to kidnap my sons. They flee and run to Ala for protection. The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing.
