(***There will be strong language and scenes which are inappropriate for young readers***) I glanced away as the Alpha pressed me into the plush mattress on the bed. "No more games, kitten," he growled lowly in my ear. "What is your name?" "Jinx," I said quietly. He snarled and forced me to look up at him. His eyes blazed with anger. "Stop lying to me," he snapped. I felt the full force of his command and knew that he was no one to mess with. His teeth lightly grazed my pulsing neck. "What is your name?" *** Jinx has spent nine years in an isolation camp being tortured and beaten. Now having escaped, she's just trying to live her life in spite of the people who tried to ruin her. In comes Alpha Kade. He's the possessive badass Alpha who just happens to capture his own mate...as a rogue? Can Kade break through Jinx's barriers and help her, or will she push him away? (A/N The title will make more sense when you actually read the story)

My Alpha barged into my room and started speaking softly but very threateningly, "you didn't make dinner, Why is that? Do you want to die tonight. There is already fighting and we haven't got anything to distract him with!" And with that he was on top of me, beating me senseless. I screamed, hoping maybe this visiting Alpha was kind enough to help me. I heard footsteps and smelled a familiar smell. "Help!" Was all I wheezed out before blacking out. *I AM AWARE OF HOW SUCKISH THIS BOOK IS. IT WAS MY FIRST BOOK AND I'VE GOTTEN BETTER. I WILL NOT BE EDITING THIS BECAUSE I AM A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WITH NO TIME ON HER HANDS.
