Angeline Parker – femme fatale. She can win your heart, but just as well she can break it. Born with Onychokinesis and angel wings, she is an immortal warrior. And in a world with not only humans, she and a group of orphaned children have to scrounge for their survival. The humans hunt these dangers called mutants.
A life threatening mission of the angel’s proves successful, but once they return home, disaster strikes – her brother’s death.
Her perfectly murderous façade cracks, leaving a scared and distressed young woman. Daniel Ryder is her best friend and a shape-shifter, and, fearing for her, he comes to her aid. But when her mind has warped, she snags him by the heartstrings and is unwillingly dragged under the covers, into her oblivion.
And weeks later, a change brings Danny’s life into focus. Angeline isn’t the same anymore. They receive something neither of them had even known could happen – a living thing. But with this come new enemies and new hardships.
