Serena was someone simple. Not really much happened in her life. She lived with her mom, was an only child, and had pretty good friends at school. Everything was fine. 

Until the day she almost died. 

It wasn't your normal near-death experience. The catch is she should've died, because there's no way someone could jump off a 11 story building and have a near-death experience. 

So how'd she live? 

Someone caught her. 

This wasn't a person just standing around and held out his arms to catch her. No. He would've
 probably died too. This was someone who doesn't save people. Someone who if sees someone about to die, then just let's them die. This someone doesn't interfere with people's fate, because why save ever human who's about to die when there already going to die? 

This was his thinking. 

But his thinking was stopped when he saw her falling.

Before you read the summary, I want you to know that this isn't a story about paranormal beings falling in love, with each other or ordinary people. It is about the horrifying and unusual consequences caused be love. "How?" You may wonder...well I guess you'll just have to read and find out. But as a word hangs from one's lips at precise time it's needed or a person is overcome with an overwhelming sense of déjà vu, he just couldn't figure out where he had seen her before. All he knows is that he doesn't belong here, but there is literally no way in Hell he would ever go back to where he came from. Will he choose to be who he once was?
