So this is a short story I wrote a while ago and thought it should be my debut on this site

Nathan was an ordinary guy growing up with his family, and an abusing father

All Nathan ever wanted was to leave his father's house with no permanent damage, but fate decided even that was too much for him

And as the fabric of his life unravels, he finally finds peace in the arms of a girl. But fate once again decides it wasn't done with him yet, and puts him in a position to make a choice, and neither would've worked in his favour 

Then, after a lifetime of opposing him, fate finally decides to smile upon him, but even that, smile was a sour one
