James and Adam have been the best of friends since they were in diapers. Adam's dad became an even worse alcoholic than before she died, and Adam begins to feel the repercussions of it. On top of that, he is beginning to realize that James, his closet friend,confidant, no longer held just that platonic position in his heart anymore. However, fear of his father is slowly turning Adam paranoid, and he begins to drift away from James.
However, on the flip side of everything, James is beginning to fall for the friend who was his rock through everything after his mom's abandonment. When Adam distanced himself from James, James takes it upon himself to help him. It's only after he dives in that James realizes just how deep a mess he entered.
