In an attempt to strengthen his pack, Deucalion goes after a rather power alpha, Alexander Grey, who lives with his family, who are coincidentally also his pack, just outside of Beacon Hills. To Alexander, family was everything, therefore he had no interest in leaving his family for another pack, especially not this one. Although, Deucalion refused to take no for an answer. Eventually, Deucalion and his pack's persuasion turned toward the Grey family, rather than Alexander himself. As a result, the Grey's suffered great loss. Avery, the middle child, who was one of those spared, is unable to contain her distress and is overcome with vengeance and will stop at nothing until Deucalion and his pack get the retribution they deserve. And her only lead is Derek Hale.
